iOS Installation Using the Configuration Profile

  • Go to the download page and then download the configuration profile:
    • iOS device: Download the configuration profile directly onto your iOS device.
    • Mac or PC: Save this file to your drive, then email it to an account on your iPhone and then tap the configuration profile in Mail.
  • Now, connect your device to a power cord and then to Wi-Fi.
  • Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Now, tap Download and Install.
  • To update it now, tap to Install. Or tap Later and choose Install Tonight or Remind Me Later. If you tap Install Tonight, connect your device to a power cord at night and your device will update automatically by morning.
  • If it is prompted, then enter your passcode.
