Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Executive plays a important role in growing business within the IT services industry. In this role, candidate needs to focus on generating leads, building strong relationship with clients, and make strategies how to increase revenue of the business. Additionally, this role also needs to find business opportunities and turn potential clients into long term clients. The person we are looking for should be good at building relationships with clients and managing these relationships, for the business.

Key Responsibilities as Sales & Marketing Executive

  • To identify and generate new business leads specifically within the IT industry through research and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain a sales process of qualified leads to support continuous sales growth.
  • You need to connect with potential clients through calls, emails, and digital platforms to present our services we are offering.
  • Connect with internal teams to coordinate lead generation strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare yourself for presentations and proposals designed to client requirements.
  • Track, manage and update existing and new leads using CRM tools. This helps you for better sales visibility and reporting.
  • Analyze market trends to find opportunities and also about competitor activities.
  • Take follow up with potential clients regularly. This helps in increasing conversion rates and close deals.
  • Support the team to run marketing campaigns which helps in increasing brand awareness and lead generation.

Required Skills for Sales & Marketing Executive

  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
  • You need to have experience in lead generation, and better if it is preferably in the IT services industry.
  • You should have knowledge of sales techniques, digital outreach, and marketing fundamentals.
  • Have a capability to use CRM tools and manage sales pipelines accurately
  • You need to be really good at negotiating and able to make people see things your way.
  • Should be self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working under a given time limit.
  • Need to be good at analyzing things and finding solutions to problems that come up with the work you do.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s course or Master’s course in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field like BBA, BA in Marketing  / Business Studies, BMS, MBA, PGDM in Sales & Marketing.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales &  marketing, or business development roles.
  • Prior experience in IT services or B2B lead generation is highly preferred.
  • If you have familiarity with digital marketing tools and LinkedIn outreach strategies is an advantage.
